SFC Wayne White Memorial Scholarship, Lester "Bobie" Jones Memorial Scholarship, and Jarell "City" Jones Memorial Scholarship 

Education is at the forefront and core of our non-profit. There is a cliché that says, “The Sky is the Limit” and it our belief that this is so true. It is our goal to help as many students and families with their college journey as we possibly can by presenting them with scholarships that aids them with tuition.

In our first year we awarded Chaz Nailor and Kelis Brown with scholarships totaling $1000. Next year we plan to grow and expand and add to our platform and offer additional scholarships.

Scholarship Applications will be available each February in the guidance counselor office and the winner will be announced at Class Night.

D.T. Cares Back2School Drive

We want to be a vessel in our community. This is first done through outreach. In 2019 D.T. Cares Foundation held it’s first Back2School Drive in partnership with Louisiana District 58 State Representative Ken Brass. It was a proud day watching students from head start to 12th Grade receive school bags filled with supplies. We gave away 150 school bags and more than 2000 school supplies to residents of St. James, Ascension and Assumption Parishes and to families in need. 

Based in the South we know first hand the damage that hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods and other events can cause. Our founder is from Louisiana and lived through Hurricane Katrina, so whenever the time comes to help those in need SIGN US UP! When Hurricane Harvey touched down in Houston in  2018 we sent water, food and non-perishables items to Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Houston Texas to be distributed to families in and around the community in need. Our vision is to only grow and do as much as we can to help aid those in need in the future.
